Forum user Bigus has kindly taken a few more Samsung i8510 photo samples, this time indoors with the flash on and later with the flash off. As you can see the flash has quite an effect at close range.

Here are some more user photos from the Samsung i8510 camera, many thanks to our forum member Bigus for these sample photo’s. Great looking outdoor shots I must add, they look very much like a 8 mp digital camera took them. These were taken on the UK version of the phone on a final release firmware.

Here’s a look at a Samsung i8510 advert that has surfaced in the UK (Carphone warehouse?). Marked as the europes first 8 mega pixel camera phone. If this advert was from the carphone warehouse some much for their exclusive! It was out the same day on orange.

Know your mobile have given the Samsung i8510 Innov8 an impressive 4.5 out of 5 rating. Their only negatives were the fact the phone is quite large and the optical joystick was over sensitive. Otherwise they commented that the 8 mega pixel camera was comparable to a standalone compact camera.

We have had a few user reviews posted in our forums and so far users seem to be impressed with the new phone:
The build quality of the phone is nothing short of stunning. Metal (listening, Nokia?), sturdy back to the slider and a feeling of weight (e.g. quality) - Its smaller than I thought it would be, thinner (ish) than my N95 8Gb and about the same length and width with slider closed - The new 3d effects when you rotate the screen and go from one menu to another are quite fun - Music player has been updated, album cover in the middle, nice neon bar showing time left on song, and an Apple style reflection effect under the album art nice

You can read user reviews of the i8510 here If you have a i8510 (Lucky you!) why not post your review of the phone in our forum for others? Is it a worthy replacement for a N95 8gb? Is it a N96 killer? Let us know!
Here is the test video recorded by Mobile PC Online china, I have uploaded this to youtube as the oringinal is almost 8mb in size.
Word in that the Samsung i8510 Innov8 was released in Dubai, UAE a few days ago. But its rumoured to have a hefty price tag of USD $1200+
Cnet UK have reviewed the Samsung i8510 Innov8 and given it an impressive 8.9 out of 10! Not bad at all.
“Having not properly reviewed the Nokia N96 just yet, we don’t want to speak too soon and say the Samsung i8510 definitely wins out, but what we can say is this is Samsung’s best phone yet. A solid design combined with more features than you can shake a moose at, the i8510 genuinely took us by surprise.
We knew that the Samsung mobile team had it in them to make something great, but the i8510 is excellent and a worthy choice for any smartphone fans out there. We’d even go as far as to say that if you’re looking for something other than an N95 or N96, this is it.’”
