There is a new version brewing of the Samsung i8510. Which has been spotting on the FCC website. This new version adapted to the US 3G market or NAM (North American Market) frequencies. So it will have dual band UMTS (850/1900MHz) with HSDPA. So Samsung’s i8510 will make an official launch soon with full 3G / HSDPA support on AT&T’s network. Of course this means that its quite likely that it will also be released on Rogers’ 3G network in Canada.
Samsung i8510 NAM 3G Spotted at FCC website
Great news for Americans and Canadians, soon you’ll have your hands on an official 3G NAM release of this pwoerhouse phone. Due to be released Q1 2009.
Anyone have an update on this? I’ve been checking all over the Internet for a specific release date. Anyone know when AT&T will carry this phone?
I have not heard any news surrounding the US version of this phone. Has it been produced yet? Really like it and want to get it.
Well I too was hoping this to debut but the NAM version of the i8510 never shipped nor debuted, let alone come to Rogers or AT&T. I also doubt that the i8910 will either but BOTH are incredible phones.
