Hi,
I am using i8510 with XXIB2 firmware. As you know, it is one of the best.
But i hate some unnecessary preinstalled softwares. (Shozu, gypsii, unupgradeable google maps etc.). I dont need these softwares but i can not uninstall.

Because of this, i worked about XXIB2 and cleared all of these preinstalled progs. And now this firmware include only necessary system progs. and files.

In additional, i deleted screencapturer.exe files.

I am using this cleared firmware for 1 months and it is working very well.

**My phone is like a ferrari, very fast..
**Battery life: ~4-5 days. (Normal using)
**Added Turkish language files. (Not phone language, only writing language)

ATM I'm using a combination of IE1 and South Africa with good results. Might give your try a go when I'm bored of the current.

Don't know about others but I would simply love a firmware that would remember camera settings. And improve focus in macro mode. That would make this the best phone ever. At least for me.

i would like to add another language to your fw.

i added some files to rofs 2.

i rebuilded. changed xml files.
but not working .

can you tell me bengalli, which files from the original fw have you changed?
and when you rebuild the rofs2, where dou you use the xml ssize(something like 128).

there is no changed files. All of the files are original XXIB2 files.
I just deleted unneccessary files.

I think, adding lang.files to rofs2 not enough. There are some language settings files (txt files). I cant remember its names. You must check all of the txt files. Addionally, this files not only in rofs2. Check other rofs and core files.

After rebuild rofs, you can check md5 and file sizes. And change this values in 2 xml files and save.

a few months ago, I tried adding another lang. to firmwares. But everytime i have some problems too.
