My i8510 is arriving today and I'm a tad confused by the options and varying difficulty in loading a GPS. I live in South Africa, and would love to know if anyone can help tell me which GPS, overall is the best to have. I would like something free to download, with free maps, does something like this exist in Garmin or Route 66? I have been through this forum and haven't been able to work out which is the best option. Also if there are any tips for a brand new phone I would really appreciate it.

garmin is pretty solid, but is not free and you have to stop a process after quitting the program, because else it will eat up your battery like pacman!

sygic mcguider is a good alternative, that does also work pretty well
