HI,

i got a huge problem with my i8510, when i try to power it on it just hangs on samung innov8 logo
and its been like this for 3days now.
i tried to reflash it with all download mode but this mode just blink for a sec or so then switch automatically to
blue screen pda mode, when i try with modem download the pc wont recognize it so i cant use this mode in apollo either!!

the only thing i can do is downloading pda but it useless without modem(phone bin).

...how to repair damaged boot??

pleaaaase anyone with a solution????
that fone is wicked, i really love it so it is frustrating

anyone with the same problem?

You didn't install the modem drivers correctly.

The phone may get stuck on the Innov8 logo all you do is keep pressing the power button till it comes on . . . sometimes removing the battery and pressing the power button.

but no luck, it is still the same...

lets say my fone is off...i press power button....samsung innov8 logo comes on and....that s it!!!
cant do anything..the only thing i can do is take out battery to power off cuz even with pressing power button again to switch it off again it wont turn off.

isnt there a way in apollo (by the way i tried all versions 5.24, 5.27, 6.05, 6.10) to restore the modem drivers differently or another sofware??

1. Take away the battery from the phone. Leave it the phone with battery for at least 10
minutes (higher time, better chances).

2. Insert the battery and power on the power by holding down 8 and 0
i.e. press down 8 and 0 (zero) at same time, and then press the pwr button.
Release the buttons as the phone is starting (within seconds).

This will probably resolve the problem

If not, continue ...

3. Ensure that all your drivers for flashing are properly installed on your pc.
If you have ever flashed your i8510 on this same pc and no changes have been made to
the pc, then it's OK. Otherwise, uninstall all flashing drivers, delete all the corresponding
folders from program files. Go to Windows start, on the command line write "cleanmgr"
and press ENTER to clean your pc local disk (C).

4. Restart your pc and install all your drivers again. If you are Windows Vista or
Windows 7, please install all programs with Administrator's rights.

5. Now flash your phone as usual.

i guess i need buy new fone or i might call samsung before to see if they can repair it or get me a new one cuz still under warranty

please help me out of from this problem,i tried everything but nothing happend,now the problem is, i wronlgy press 1 and 3 key with power key (1+3+power key)to do hard format to my i8510,i pressed these buttons suddenly my phones open and it goes into the key pad blinking and screen off,i putted the battery off and again put it and when powering up my i8510,my phone kept restarting showing only the Samsung logo over and over again..

also i read it somwhere on this forum to go on the PDA MODE AND THEN PUTT OFF THE battery,but unfortunatly my PDA mode is corrupted so i cant do this trick and also i putt off my batter from my phone for 3-4 hours and putt it again,but still getting this problem....please can sombody help me..

i tried to flash my i8510 but i can flash only the MOdem part,not PDA because it alredy bricked by me durring flashing.

so guys i requist you to do something, ivil be really thanks full to you

download one of my old firmwares and do a full flash with them.
they come with custom apollo + drivers + instructions.

i had this problem too before, unfortunately only 100% working solution is reflash the firmware ... Have you tried "all download mode" ? (*+4)
