Samsung i8510 INNOV8 User Forums

Hi all, this is my first post and I want to share my experience with this cellphone.
I recently adquired a used i8510 in very good shape and network locked to PERSONAL ARGENTINA.

I was surprised to see how very little support and how many bugs the firm version had. And I was considering on selling it back at the same price.

I didn't find any solution without having to loose 3g connectivity or keep the current bugs that this firmware had.

My previous phone (samsung galaxy ace) had the capacity to upgrade firmware in "sections" and I found that the i8510 had the same possibility.

So having no more options I started the phone in PDA DOWNLOAD (hold 1+4+PWR), opened apollo and flashed PDA and CSS Only using the button PDA DOWNLOAD.

MAGIC! now I have European firmware, no bugs, and American modem with 3.5G!!!


I believe this is the best solution for those living in USA or Argentina.. or any other country that uses HSDPA 850/1900mhz
