I've been using my phone for a little over a year now and haven't had problems with it until recently.

Slider keys are not working (not clickable) expect for the Hang key where you can turn off the phone. The regular phone keys can be accessed though. What I do is restart the phone. However, after 2-3 lock and unlock, the problem persist. Thus, I have to restart the phone every now and then .. or keep the slider open so that it won't lock.

it is SW problem, somebody was already asking about this problem, not sure, if he got to solution ...
I can suggest to reflash FW, it will probably work, but as I said, search a little bit in forum and try to find that topic to find the answer

I found out today by accidental what the problem was.
Sometimes when I train I put my credit card and my phone in same pocket.
It happens sometimes but I totally forgot it.
My credit card gets between the slides.
So I downloaded disassembly guide from the link and disassembly it.
What I saw was cable called “Flex ribbon cable CA47“ was cut a little.
That cable can be ordered from ebay.

i also have such problem recent week... and no solution found so far...
Innov8 su*k.... i found the image/video repository hang always when i hv image count around 1k++ files
and among my friend, i am the only 1 use this phone. Quiet regret brought this phone

i don't know why you have these problems, maybe you cannot handle with phone ... i already opened my phone several times and everything still working ...

any suggestion? i cant affort everytime hang and takeout the battery to restart it.
it's > 10 times i did this yesterday. It's getting serious.
Any firmware i should install?

i don't know your warranty, but i think to open it and check cables, if they are connected .. As i said, it's against warranty !! ..

send me a pm about the cable, not that I think that I have the same problem. I use silicone protective case
and I never, never use same pocket with my phone.. but I need to find a damn solution

P.S. On ebay there's nothing called 'Flex ribbon cable CA47' or CA47 in general
[EDITED] From the upper(screen) part this cable is hard wired(soldered), or I didn't see very well the connection?
BTW in ebay you can find this cable, it's called 'Flex ribbon cable i8510'

(fill me in about the connection on the upper side, if its soldered or not(not a problem to me if its soldered, but
I don't want to do it if it is just useless. don't tell me that you didn't remove the cable and you are just saying..
I remove the cable from the main base but not in the upper(screen) part)
