Anyway, I havn't been able to use it as a phone yet....

When I put in a sim card (which works), I'll put in the sim code... and ill geta code accepted message. The screen will blank, then return back to the sim code screen. when I put in a code again, I'll get an error saying "error in code". Try once more, and I'll get the same thing.

Is there something wrong or that I'm missing here? It's an Optus (au) 3g sim card..

Sounds liek it could be locked or network barred?

I don't think its locked - the phone is a grey import, and the sim itself is for Optus. Not sure how else it could be barred. I'm using it at the moment in a spare phone (n93) until I sort it out..
