Anyone confirm these codes to work? I'm not lucky enough to own a i8510 so i cannot test this myself.

Battery info: *#0228# if you type that, then press bak couple of time u go into debug menu, very many options there, looks like you could really mess up ur fone. Anyway still cant find a way to view the system disk of the phone on th pc (thru usb), the one which has built in soft like route66. Did any one try to download a map of a whole country? I tried to download through the route 66 store on the phone, a UK map (250mb) it tells me not enough space even though there is like 13gb free! i guess its trying to dl it to the system disk which is like 70mb big guess a soft update will fix it

Becareful with those settings! You dont want a i8510 brick.

But do have a look around you might find an option to enable all S60 sis installs. So ALL nokia apps will work! Image that.

arghh, i dunno what i did but after fidiling those options, every time i connect the phone to charger, it asks me if i need pc sync, mass storage or media transfer. not the end of the world but annoying...

If anyone does find a hack that would be a winner - it's the one niggling feeling I have of the handset (apart from the size!)

I think most people who have the phone will agree that it will go from a good phone to a sensational phone if we can hack it to install all S60 apps as well as being able to stop things like the autolock and other little annoyances.

The short codes work but can't get the *#8999*xxx# ones working Perhaps I am doing something wrong?
