I tried to install Garmin 4.20,but it was not successfull.

I followed this installing method,but something was wrong,because when I klicked on the Garmin's icon on the phone has started freezing. :evil:

I'm afraid the Garmin mobile XT won't be compatible with i8510

Does anyone could install it?

Hi there

I did install Copilot ok on my first I8510 with no probs but that phone had to be returned. the replacement came I tried to install copilot again but this time it fails as soon as i try to install it says straight away update error and wont carry on with the install :evil:

I have tried to install another gps progs,like copilot,tomtom,sygic...but none of them was successfull.
My opinion is something is prevent to install any other gps progs onto the phone. (sorry about my english,I am hungarian 8-)

i got tomtom working but cant get the bt.sisx working which is needed to emulate the built in gps as a bluetooth gps

I have downloaded the latest version of Garmin (5.00.00)
But it is still not working on the phone.
Problems like before..
Anyone has tried it?

I have successfully installed Sygic Mobile GPS complete with maps and voices.

Fully operational and tested against dedicated TomTom 730 in UK, works flawlessly, no issues whatsoever.

Before first run, start and minimize GPS data from Tools menu due to GPS hardware detection, later it's not necessary, it will switch on your GPS module automatically.
