.. should I leave as it is - XXHL2 17.12.2008, also samsung pc studio refuse to start upgrade process with some message "not supported telephone" or something like that

Use Apollo, Samsung PC Studio Won't upgrade your firmware.

Also The current firmware is I8510ZXIE1 or I8510DJIC2
