Problems with Themes

Postby blubb0r » Sat May 23, 2009 1:03 am

Hi,

I have a problem with several S60 themes I installed on my i8510.

With every other theme I use the "Settings" button in the menu doesn't fit the theme! In every theme there's a standard button (a bag is there)!

Only with the preinstalled themes the button fits!

Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a possibility to fix it?

I have the same issue, only thing i can think of that on the i8510 the settings button is different to the nokia version (somehow designated differently in the nokia fw's maybe)

Maybe try investigating it using the theme editor from nokia ? i dont know tbh.

That is probably when you connect your phone in mass storage mode? If yes, that's the reason. Install your themes on phone memory.

Do you think installing all our apps on the phone memory would help save battery life? I know it's a bit OOT but this rule also applies to themes so I guess it would be okay to post it here.

I have changes removed the icons that dont chnage with the themse on the i8510 by re-organisng the menu structure. now all my icons style with the theme. this might not be the best solution for everyone if you cant tear yourself away from the i8510 menu layout.

If you want help doing the same just let me know.

Just move the content of the Settings and Google folder to another folder and then you are allowed to delete these two folders.
