I recently updated to the february firmware and my gps stopped working! I was outside for more than 15min and nothing. Under gps data it just says no connection and the garmin doesn't find any signal too. Anyone having the same problem? Before I had the I8510DJHI1 firmware and never had this kind of problem.

Go in meni>settings>general>positioning>positioning methods and disable network based this is solve my problems.

When i didn't have a data conection, GPS gets signal from 2 to 20 minutes (depending of many factors).

And now, it gets signal from 20 to 45 seconds aprox (having a data plan).

If you don't have a data plan, it doesn't matter the activation of network (in GPS settings) but you must to wait...that is normal!

Anyway, check apps in memory...those may corrupt eventualy the functioning of other apps.

See your phone, fix the past apps that you are installed, and next: be patient!! that't the key for all things!!

Before I updated the phone I used to get it to work under 5 min without assistance. Today I stayed outside under clear sky, without buildings and trees around for about 50 min and nothing. After I updated I already did a master reset, formated both memory card and mass memory and updated to the march firmware and still nothing. I'm really starting to regret doing this.

I don't like March Firm. I am happy with the tremendous photos of Feb. Firm!

GPS works well with Feb. Firm!!
