Hi all

I wanted to install google maps 4 on my innov8 , I searched here and found that I should extract the .sisx contents and override C:/private and C:/sys and C:/resources

I did so without taking a backup :S

google maps 4 already worked but it has some bugs , I want to restore the original one , can someone give me the original files please ?

Hello,

Use hard reset to restore your phone to it's original state with all the preinstalled applications.

Note hard restting will delete all the applications you installed yourself (so you have to reinstall them again).

To hard reset your phone, press:

*#7370#

When prompted for a security code, write:

00000000 (eight zeros), and press ok.

Phone will restart automatically.

NB: When phone retarts, you will be asked to set date and time.

Please DON'T change the default date that will show (date like 15/08/2008), just click OK.

Leave the phone on for few minutes (this is to allow some preinstalled applications like CNN to resurface).

When all original preinstalled applications are visible, then now you can set the phone date to current date.
