Heya, I'm not entirely sure what is causing this but this is what I get - As I text, my phone will randomly bring up the headphone window asking where I would like to hear music from. This happens every 2 or 3 numbers pressed while texting. The phone itself will also wake up even when its sitting on my desk to change the audio mode to headphones or bring that screen up once again. The firmware is not the problem as I'm guessing this is a mechanical problem due to no firmware changing this behavior so far for me.

The headphone jack is noticeably broken, as I can only get one channel of audio unless I wiggle the cable itself. Calls placed with a headset render the receiver incapable of hearing me as well.

I baby this thing. Could this be caused by some sort of moisture damage or something? It is basically inside of my pocket all day unless I'm walking around with it or doing normal phone things.

Please let me know, as no Google or forum search here has provided me with anybody encountering similar symptoms and this phone is obviously out of warranty now, so I don't really have that as an option.

hmm, it's possible, that some lines from that jack to "motherboard" are "semi-broken" when it connects, it shows that you have changed to headset or something, because it register some connection ... give it to repair, or you can try to dismount mobile and look yourself, but you probably don't repair it on your own....
and just for sure, write your FW (on emergency mode write *#1234#)
