Hi everyone, I am new to this forum and also new to upgrading mobile phones firmwares..

I would like to upgrade its current firmware to a new one which my help in solving many of the issues i am facing with the current one. The current firmware is Arabic enabled since i am living in Middle East.

Here are the current firmware info:

Software Version Date: 11/12/2008
Custom Version: I8510XSGHL1
Custom Version Date: 11/12/2008

Please guide me to the right direction and appreciate a help to a successful firmware upgrade..

Ok, i read here and there, and i think i understood it well. Now that i started to flash the phone, it is stuck at 4% on the modem downloading, and the Modem Status shows :
Creating Thread Successful
Modem Code Download
Flash Programming

and stuck stuck there..

Now its been 20+ min, is it normal? and what should i do ?

Ok, i closed Apollo and re did the whole things, now i am got this:
Creating Thread Successful
Modem Code Download
Flash Programming
Error !!

But the PDA download went fine:
Connect Successful 1
Sending Header Successful
