Sup everyone,

I was just messing around with the new PC Suite today and clicked on Update even though I figured it was gonna fail, like it always does. But today it actually connected to the samsung servers, dloaded an update, unzipped it n all. Then when it was ready to start updating my fone, it said it couldnt find it, even though Suite showed that my fone WAS connect via bluetooth at the time. So to make it more solid, I connected via USB and set it to connect to PC Suite. and still the same issue...My phone ISNT connected? Anyone can enlighten me on this issue?

I'm not sure, but I think that FW can be loaded to phone only via USB cable, because Bluetooth should have some transfer issues , that is my opinion, try to connect it via USB and please tell your country ... and what firmware it gives, THX

I tried both bluetooth AND USB...it gives me the same issue. It wont let me see wat FW its gonna install.

wait a moment, you are from USA and has XXIC1 firmware ? i don't think that update should even work, because for USA is another firmware line ... (I8510XXxxx is for most of europe)

Really?! Then what would you recommend? Cuz as much as I review these forums, I just cant get the hang of all the CFW's. Like I was gonna make a thread the other day asking exactly WHY theres so many types of these? Anywho, if you could hook me up with some info on some good FW for the US, Id really appreciate it.

sorry, i cannot help you with this, i focused only on XX firmwares, maybe somebody else can help, if your firmware, that you have works OK i think you could keep it, as it is ...

I have the same issue. Its all working fine but when its time to select the phone it says that it ain't connected? But it is and everything works fine except this. I have XXHL1. The phone is working fine and i wouldn't need and update except the camera is somehow badly messed up.
