How to set up "IM"

Heya, does anyone know how to set up the IM settings? Id really like to start using that rather than a third party app. One of my main problems setting it up is really just the whole Website thing...I wanna use AIM on my fone...so wat website would I put? Thx in advance

your carrier should provide you with the settings, its "wireless village" or IMPS protocol in case you can find any server...

I know you don't want to use a 3rd party app but i would recommend fring.
