I have come to give something that may be of interest:
HOW TO MODIFY THE PARAMETERS OF SOUND IN GENERAL, FOR THOSE WHO CONSIDER (like me), that the INNOV8 was "low" SPEAKING VOLUMES OF SOUND.

What we do in the first instance is from the Stand By mode or, we type the following code:
* # 0002 * 28346 #
Now we will see a menu that opens.
1-Voice Call
2-Play Sound
3-Record
Call 4-VT
5-FM Radio
6-BackUp

Let's go into section 2 "Play Sound"

Next, we see that opens another menu.
Well, there we see the different settings:
1-MP3 LoudSpk (here, we can vary the volume of the integrated speakers)
2-MP3 HeadPHN (enter here to change the strength of volume in the headphones)
Other possible configurations are basically the same procedure.

As a comment, I tell them I played around with the settings at for the speaker volume and headphones.
Summer, for example, when entering the MP3 HeadPHN menu (this enhances the sound of the mp3 in the integrated speakers), the following list of possible changes:

1-Fine Gain
2-Coarse Gain
Analog 3-PGA
4-HS Gain

I recommend that before you edit any values notes on paper the originals values, in case you decided to go back !!

I also saw that there is an option BACKUP, is very important to read about this function at the end of this post.

I leave to below the values that I have chosen, after touching a while, come to the conclusion that this was how I liked it better. Obviously, it is in the taste of each.
On the menu 1, MP3 LoudSPK, my configuration was chosen:
Fine Gain: 0 db
Coarse Gain: 6 db
Analog PGA: 4 db
PreDR Gain: 6 db
I repeat, are values chosen by me.
So it sounds louder without becoming saturated. Remember that the maximum setting may damage the speakers

For the headphone output (menu 2 - MP3 HeadPHN):
Fine Gain: 0 db
Coarse Gain: 6 db
Analog PGA: 4 db
HS Gain: 6 db
I think that is the most recommendable.
I tried increasing the maximum values and is too loud, so much so that half the volume it becomes impossible to bear, so I left those values above.
After other menus will be the same type, there is one called MP4 LoudSPK modifying the values of the integrated speakers when playing videos; down that one called MP $ headPHN governing the same, although for the headphone output, and so is the list ...

So far the only ones I tested were those listed above. Everyone plays to your liking, there are no risks at all.

Try and comment, also can increase the sound for FM radio !!

A very important detail SHOULD NOT FORGET THAT IS AS FOLLOWS:
BEFORE LEAVING ALL THIS AMENDMENT MUST MAKE A BACKUP FOR THE changes are saved.
To do this, return to the menu first, one where the items were:
1-Voice Call
2-Play Sound
3-Record
Call 4-VT
5-FM Radio
6-BackUp ------->>> This is where they must enter to apply the changes made. Once this is finished, come and go. You can enjoy your new configuration.

Respecto al firmware, le instalé el que figura en el foro ( feb-2009-i8510xxib2-free-download-drivers-instructions-t807.html )
Si aun no lo hiciste, te lo recomiendo, sacanco de lado que perdio el 3G (cosa que me da igual), a mi me sirvio y mucho. Basicamente el mio era de Claro y la actualizacion le borro todas las imagenes, salvapantallas, aplicaciones, etc.....que le instala la empresa, pero ademas, me instalo muchas otras que los de Claro eliminan en los equipos. Quedó excelente, lo estuve probando un par de dias, y anda mucho mejor. Diria que el sistema anda como mas "aceitado", mas rapido, fluido, etc.
Hay muchos que han instalado este firmware y se quejan de que al apagarlo, se pierde la configuracion de internet. Yo debo decir que, no se si fue suerte, pero a mi eso no me ocurrio.
Por lo tanto, la unica "perdida" fue el 3G y estoy super convencido de que existe alguna configuracion oculta para que tome la señal 3G. Se trata de un tema de soft, no de Hardware, el equipo viene listo para tomar el 3G, pero seguramente, como el firmware es de Europa, en algun momento durante la actualizacion, fija parametros que corresponden a la norma Europea. El tema es encontrar, asi como yo encontré esto del sonido, donde esta la configuracion que delimita que el equipo tome tal o cual banda de trabajo.
En cuanto tenga novedades, prometo dar un informe del tema.

Hi 1st of all thanks for sharing the info. I have 1 question, which after done the following code * # 0002 * 28346 # the following menu will appear:

1-Voice Call
2-Play Sound
3-Record Call
4-VT
5-FM Radio
6-BackUp

I can see that the option no. 3 is Record Call. Is that means that we can now activate the call recording feature on INNOV8 which it was disabled by default ?? Is this the place to activate it ?? Because no matter how hard I try, all the various call recording software I've tried with no success. This is due to Samsung has been disabled it by default.
Please advice. Thank you in advance.

Hello, I really have not explored all the menu options. In fact, some have not understood to serve.

If you are interested in this data, I use ALON MP3 is, for me, the best Mp3 player at the same time, record conversations automatically and leaves stored in a folder. It is proven by me and works perfectly.
That option which you do mention, I figure as "record" and I imagine that Sets the parameters of the sensitivity of the microphone when making recordings via the microphone or in the videos. I was not listed as "Record Call", I only listed as "Record"

Do U know how to configure same settings for camera and to improve it?

You're welcome, but unfortunately the improvements on the camera is only through upgrades in the firmware. I have installed which I think is the last available (26/02/09) and I must say that the photos, while not perfect, they are very good. Here I leave it to automatic sample taken the day Saturday.

Also wanted to comment on a detail forgotten in the previous post: Negative values are written by entering the value, and then press " * " (obviously without the quotes).
They also note that I use headphones Sony MDR-EX85, as I understand, one of the best, quality, and the diameter of the speakers, etc ... I recommend them, especially now that we can make our INNOV8 sound like the gods!
