Samsung i8510 INNOV8 User Forums

My i8510, as many others, comes with Route66. But I'm in Argentina and the maps for this country costs Eur 50, that is a little fortune for our devaluated economy. So I installed Garmin 5.00.50 and downloaded free and good maps from the "Proyecto Mapear" page.
I'm happy with this configuration but have one problem: the screensaver and the keyboard lock still working when Garmin is runnig, and this make Garmin useless in a car. It doesn't happen with Route66

Somebody knows how to disable the screensaver and keyboard locking for Garmin?

I found the solution!. Is a simple configuration in Garmin Mobile. You need to go to Utilities -> Configuration -> Screen -> Cancel backlight -> Always active (or something else since I have Garmin in Spanish and don't know the exact translation for the menu options)
