Hi Guys

Using the info on this forum, I managed to succesfully hack my phone. I had installed quite a few working apps, including Garmin Mobile, and some other random apps. I wanted a weather application and decided to try Forecaweather, which i was told meant i needed License Manager Pro. Everything was working fine with the phone until i installed LM Pro.

The phone is now insanely slow, and will do nothing. I've tried uninstalling LM Pro, but the phone tells me it cannot do this because the installation app is already running. It isn't, as far as i can tell. The phone has been switched on and off a million times, by taking the battery out. There is nothing showing on open applications. I cannot uninstall LM Pro, or re-install it, or anything. The phone is now useless. It won't even reset to factory setting, cos i've tried that too

Any ideas would be great

Hi, when you say you tried restarting the phone, did you mean you tried entering the *#7370# code? when my phone played up i did that and it worked. the thing is you have to be very fast. turn the phone off, then switch it back on and as soon as you can enter the code (along with eight 0's) do it, otherwise the phone will slow down so much its impossible. another method that may work is if you have any backups of the phone on the computer? just try restoring the phone, (just to say if you try this method it may take upto 30mins for the phone to be recognised on the computer) if you can, what happened to me was it got so far through restoring but then totally stopped, so i just disconnected it and turned my phone off then on again, and my phone worked properly again.

You can also reset it by turning it off, pressing the buttons 0 & 8 (as far as I can remeber) and while you're still doing that start the phone.

Yeahi tried the code. i'll try doing it straight away like you've said. need to wait for it to charge first, cos it's draining the battery like crazy too.

i don't have any back-ups, cos i've never had trouble with a phone before, and i guess i just kept forgetting to do it. oh well, too late now, lol.

I'll let you know if either of those suggestions work.
