Hello,

I recently just purchased my phone. I charged it and switched it on and got a message prompting me about running Norton-Anti Virus. I clicked okay but apparently the liscence is expired. Do I need to renew the liscence or is there any other application I can use? Preferably something that is free.

Do I even need one? Can I not just scan and remove threats when I connect to my computer?

I could be wrong but I was under the impression that there were no reported cases of any virus for the S60 operating system. If this is the case you can lose Norton.

If it is free then you can renew the license. However, if you will still pay for the license then it would be better if you will just find a free anti-virus. You can have free downloadable anti-viruses from the net.
