Is there a way to install unsigned apps WITHOUT having to go through that ***** OPDA-site?

If there is, can someone _please_ tell me in babysteps on how to do it? I've tried a few howtos that claim to "hack" my innov8 but this shit isnt right... Doesnt work.

You can self sign them on your computer, but your best bet is to hack your phone.

Ok? And how do i "self sign" apps? And you mean hacking is the best, do you know how according to my cry for help in my last post?

For anyone else interested in getting it working;

1. Get the cert file and .key file from the previous reply
2. Place the cert file and .key file onto the phone
3. Download and Install FreeSigner
4. Download MapDrives and HelloOX and place the .sis(x) files onto phone
5. Open FreeSigner and assign the .key/.cert in the settings
6. Go to Add Task and choose MapDrives (not sure if this step required, but did it anyways)
7. Go to Add Task and choose HelloOX
8. FreeSigner > Options > Go! - This will generate new .sis(x) files with signed cert/key
9. Go to folder and open up the new files (in the same folder as where you originally placed the .sis(x)
10. Install Mapdrives
11. Install HelloOX; Ive read that RomPatcher and Modo are optional, I installed them anyways
12. Remove HelloOX after install - (not sure if you can remove mapdrives? let me know)

Now you can install any unsigned apps



Item 4. Wat does it means? where do i find the .sis(x) or what do you mean by sis (x)

CapsOn/CapsOff does _not_ open my sys-folder.

What can i do to fix it / Do it right? Ive followed howtos here and many other places, but it wil NOT unlock and im about to get ****!

.. well, challenge would be to get a devcert file since symbiansigned goes down, opda is not a recommended solution as for chineese language (bad english translation) and public imei give-away, so nothing for now .. just give me your email for apps you're asked about ..

I've been trying to get a cert from the OPDA website but am stuck when they ask for a valid email address... i enter my own personal gmail account but it doesn't seem to work. anyone have the same problem?

Thanks for a great guide for a starter.

I followed the guide and got my download link. Great! Downloaded the first file and was about to download the next and was told (had to translate on google) that i was missing OP points or something?
Can i wait for the point or do i have to do something, god forbid, on the site to earn points?
