Whoooop....there it gooooes....and it's gone!!!
I think i screwed it up. I put an 18 in front of my mobile number. Will try it with the 15 as you suggested. I dont think it has something to do with the IMEI, it did not occur to me from the guide. Cant imagine what's the real reason.
Butt there's a little problem. Alas, I have to collect at least one shiny coin of their funny currency there by posting in that forum , otherwise it wont work, or so I read.

Yeah I have no idea what the numbers we put in front of our telephone number was, or why it had to be there for it to work.

I didn't know we had to post on their forum?

I haven't done that yet, i might leave a random post somwehere with just a . in it! lol

I logged into that OPDA site this morning to see if my certificate was ready and it said I was banned from the forum!!!

My IP address is still banned from logging back into that OPDA site, I have no idea why to be honest, all i did was apply for a certificate which it said was successful and then leave a couple posts to show i was an active member and now it won't let me back in.

Anyways on my travels I have since found a couple things which may help others.

This guy over here will get actually get the certificate for you:

And here he has written a pretty in-depth guide so you can do it yourself using the OPDA site. I wish I would of had this when i tried to do it as it explains everything, i did it all off my own back and well, it doesn't look like it's worked as i've been banned but I will update.

Well best of luck to everyone else who try's this way, looks like i'm screwed as I can no longer try to get a certificate for my IMEI number as it says it's alredy been used! I have no idea what went wrong, everything was going smoothly, then it decided to ban my account, then i had to re-register and then when i tried to start again it wouldn't let me because aparently my IMEI number is alredy in use.

So i'm done with this for now I guess.

I can confirm that guide works. I followed every step. The cert took around 13 hours to come. I have successfully signed apps!

I can't think where I went wrong, I did it perfectly, all I can think of was that posting a couple of blank posts in their forum got me banned! Either way i can't try with the same IMEI number again.

I didn't post anything, maybe that's where you went wrong?
On the guide he said *Only use for cert applications, so maybe they do ban if you post :S
They might have taken the blank posts as spam. Maybe you could try using Google Translation to send them a message asking for a cert, and explain what happened?

Just to make it clear, the instructions on the first page dont work anymore?
I got a message saying;

suspended symbiansigned developer certificate (TC Publisher ID) applications, specifically the restoration of the date of this platform you notice at any time!

Our only option at this stage is to sign up onto the forum posted above?

Okay, i got a cert file and a .key file using the 2nd method explained.

Do i still use the original method of using the rapidshare program?
What about the .key? is that used for anything?
