Hello Guys,

Okay after trapsing through those chinese forums i managed to get the N-Gage application installed and working.

You need to get a dev cert:

Okay, N-gage wasn't made for this phone so it doesn't run the smoothest. It is slow at times so you need to give it time, i had to run in WiFi to download trials for games but im sure you could run it in a good 3G connection. (GPRS DOESN'T WORK)

I still haven't finnished downloading first game yet so if this doesn't work fully its not my fault. but getting to this point is amazing.

PLEASE NOTE: I DID NOT DO THIS MYSELF, I MERELY FOUND HOW TO DO IT FROM A CHINESE SITE AND POSTING IT HERE FOR EASY ACCESS, REPACKAGED!!!!!

Okay, after trying a cuple of games i cannot get them to work.

The main problem im getting is this "KERN-EXEC 03" error which after some research seems to be with the screen resolution on the i8510.

Interesting.

So the app itself installs fine and you can get it to work, but the games themselves don't play?

This may be completely unrelated but I know 3D java games don't work because some graphics thing (sorry for the technical term there!) isn't present. Do you think this could be why the N-Gage games don't work?

Okay,

I tested a few games and managed to get 3 to work, thats all so far.......connecting through WiFi is ONLY way to get downloading for me.

Working games:
Star wars - The force unleased
Boom Blox
Space Impact - Kappa Base

Non Working (So Far):
Resident Evil - Degeneration
MGS - Mobile
Crash Nitro Kart
tons of others, can't remember

Now, i've also read something about 3rd party applications not being able to use the accelerometer

Just to confirm, IT DOES WORK! there's a read-me file in the .rar that explains everything.

Your welcome guys, i put that rar file together last night after learning to do it from a chinese website, tried to make it more readable.

Please tell me how your success is going with games?
How does the program run?
What problems have you found?

I've got it. I've managed to get all games so far working.

Heres how!

Some of you might already have this working but my phone is different.

Firstly, shut everything down ( i run handyshell/weather + Roadsync) reset your phone.
download memory speed up: http://rapidshare.com/files/194379317/s ... up-ram.rar

install and run after a fresh restart.

This SHOULD allow you to run all games, if it doesn't. please tell me.

How can I install N-Gage Games?

The phone doesn't recognize *.n-gage file.
