Night Shots

Postby DarkPand0r » Sun Sep 07, 2008 2:55 am

Okay, i see that alot of people are wanting to see shots at night, so i've taken some shots of my room (now completely dark apart from my laptop)

Normal (Anti Shake On)

Excuse the Portsmouth Scarf, Play Up Pompey!

Macro (Anti Shake On)

Close Up Of My Orange Booklet, Taken From roughly 8cm away.

Auto Focus (Anti Shake On)

Computers CAN Be Creepy!

Manual Focus (Anti Shake On)

Note the LG Secret Bag, Oh The Irony....Im An LG Rep!

Overall i was surprised how well they came off at night, this isn't showing much distance as i am in quite a contained area but ill get some pictures up while i'm out tomorrow night.

I was very pleased with the Macro shot, i thought that really showed some depth to the image which i thought was quite good.

Does it have one led or two?
I am very curious how the the night pictures will be with more distance.
I cannot imagine that the power-led(s?) can keep up with a xenon-flash.

I take many pictures in dark areas like discotheques, so it's very important for me that the pictures at night are well, too.
So what do you think about the quality at night?

Im really impressed truth be told, performs way better than my friends N95 at night which gave a darker more noisy image on dark shots.

I believe that its a dual LED flash, which performs reasonably well (its not a xenon, why didn't they use a xenon?!!?!) for what it uses and with the ISO1600 it does make images using flash look very, very good.

Night pictures of the n95 have very bad quality in my opinion. The flash is too weak for night pictures.
What about the flash when the objects are farther away? Is the flash strong enough to light up your room when it is completely dark? What about the quality then? Is it good enough that you can see objects that are 3 meters far away?

I am really unhappy that this Innov8 has no xenon like the nokia n82 it has :|

I'm very unsure if I should buy this phone...this is of the flash!

I would be very happy if the flash is strong enouh :)

Agreed, it was OK in the day but utter rubbish at night, really fuzzy pictures. DarkPandor, liking your night shots there, they've come out really well

Oh and I have that monitor as well - currently sat away doing nothing in a corner but just thought I would point it out

I always thought that the Nokia was the ultimate when it comes to mobile phones, but after these fantastic pictures from Samsung I think I’ll have to change my opinion!! But then again, I would like to see pictures taken from a greater distance to really be convinced!! Great pictures there!!
