Samsung i8510 INNOV8 User Forums

As reported on AAS, there's now an official Samsung firmware update available for the 8510.

To get the update you need to be using the latest release of PC Suite (released yesterday) - http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/forum/sh ... hp?t=79918

You should then be able to update your firmware to I8510XXHJ3

Unfortunately after downloading the new pcsuite i still get the "Phone software updater does not support the connected model".
It may be that my software version (I8510XXHHa)is not yet supported,any pointers would be welcome!!

I know there are two different versions on the site.

This is the one we need to that can update the phone.

It still does not work, neither with 7_7.1.40.8 nor with 7_7.1.47.8. Keeps saying "Phone software updater does not support the connected model". Pretty weird.

Phone will automaticly update, when I install this suite on my pc and plug the phone into usb and run the program?!
Is there any special procedure?
