Have we established the prerequistite firmware that we need to update? and if so, can we use say apollo, to get to that version?

Hi all

Just to easy some things... one request to the moderator to update the main page with the newest fimware and PC_Suite and new usb driver....
also some manual should be also appreciated, to skip the famous 27% freeze of upgrade

Could it be that the update is a country-specific thing?

I´ve mine from GB but I live in Germany and it doesn´t work, there´s no problem with recognizing or s.th. - it only says "Mobile Phone is not supported by phone updater"...

Before upgrade did backup, now have a problem to load it back, just loading 14% only. Otherwise update process went without any problems. The only one problem is very weak battery.

You have posted a software version that has same date as original, but version is new
how is that affecting?

Guys,

For those with the 27% stuck up in Firmware upgrade, below is the solution:

"Got to 27% and it hung, but it did prompt me to install the usb drivers at this stage. So i downloaded from samsung site and reinstalled. Came out of program which prompted me to it being a failed update. Then did the recovery as the install had frozen (keeping fingers on 4 and 7 and powering up with the usb cable connected). Then the screen displayed ALL DOWNLOAD again. Run the update again and it worked."

I've just updated the software, the phone works perfectly,but the software updater doesn't recognize my phone and it says "Mobile Phone is not supported by phone updater"
