This has been reported by other users on allaboutsymbian as some have different version numbers and an October date but wondered if anyone here has the same version?
It finally showed completed sucessfully at the third time of asking. First attempt I had an error downloading data, second attempt stuck at 27%(had to remove battery) and then finally I left it overnight last night. Had to restore contacts etc from back up but no big deal. However it does seem strange we have a version dated 19 Sep, mine was a CPW model.
Other thing I've noticed is that if I go into phone software update on PC studio now, it still tries to tell me that previous update did not update normally and do I want to go to recovery. Now I'm not sure if that's stuck in the memory from my 2nd attempt that was aborted at 27% or if the third attempt didn't actually load properly (despite it saying it had). If I ignore that and try and run the updater software I now get "Phone Updater Software does not support your model".
Again this doesn't seem right as I'd expect to see something like "You already have the latest version of software".
I'm now debating whether or not to go down the recovery route to see what happens, any thoughts?

As I can see from your info it has not updated at all to the latest firmware,
the reason for your second attempt is because on 27% is not recognized by the pc your mobile...
possible solution is, as I read from another post, is that after this happens on 27% you have to install USB driver that comes from samsung site not just PC_Suite, then reconnect the cable, it should continue with the installation(have not tried yet myself) ....
hope that helps....

I did install the USB drivers from Samsung prior to the 2nd attempt, I may try and re-install to see what happens.
