i need help to update my firmware... but i didnt know how....

my current s/w version is
[BP] i8510xxB1

can any 1 pls tell me or teach me from A-Z how could i possibly update my firmware.... pls also suggest to me where to dl the firmware.... or which firmware to be used.... last time i update unproperly cost me RM 150 to reprogram my phone.....

you mean I8510XXIB1 ? if yes, there is only one newest and that doesn't have much improvements ...
