I downloaded a trial version of the PhotoRite editing application last night and have been having a few laughs with that today - think I might go for the full paid application as it appears to work fine on this phone!

since its the only game i know right now that works on i8510 using the accelorometer...still some bugs though

I 'aquired' coreplayer last night and it appears to crash and reset the phone after playing for a couple of mins. Anyone else experienced this too? Its a shame because the video playback is really nice on it.

nearly all 240x320res java apps/games will work on our phones i think.

First I didn't read the other posts so apologies if I double up on anything but

MWeather works fine
S60 Spoton works fine
Tomtom 6.02 works fine (make sure you copy Tomtom folder to phones E drive!)
Lights On works fine
Smart Light works fine
Y Browser works fine ( and gets rid of the you beaut viruses that come with the phone!)
Digital Clock works fine
Ultimate Voice Recorder works fine
Skycaller Pro works fine
Power Boot works fine (its needed to start smart light at system boot if you want it running all the time)
Handy Blacklist works fine
Stopwatch Plus works fine
PhoneNetInfo works to a point but once you go one page too many checking out the info you get an instant crash! So be careful. It does tell you everything about your phone but.
Sports Tracker does not install unfortunately.
Clock Screensaver works fine.

My post does not look so sexy as those above......shame......

Hi,

One app that doesn't work is the Master System Emulator MasterGear.

Even if you download the one for S60v3 it only plays sound (and it even does that badly!)

You should download the picodrive if you want games, someone posted a link for its download earlier in this topic. It is a sega genesis/master system emulator which plays those games on your symbian. Once you have downloaded it, search the internet for sega genesis ROMS- these are the files that contain the games, their are loads of sites out there like freeROMS.com and their incredibly easy to set up, transfer the ROM file (normally a BIN or zip file) to you phones E drive, then in the picodrive click load ROM and browse for the file in E:, make sure you configure controls before you load the game or you wont be able to do anything and a demo will play in a loop.

Ive got all sonic games, mortal kombat, street fighter, shinobi, earthworm jim, theyres some absolute classics out there!

Most java games ive found have been pretty lame but red bull x fighters 2007 is very fun and addictive and captain comet is an absolute classic if you can find them on freesymbian or mosh.com etc
