hello everybody! Well, searching on Google i found this! Yup, UNLOCK the Samsung i8510 Innov8 for FREE using just the Apollo

All you have to do is to upload the Modem file to your phone. I used it and works perfectly. Did it in 2 minutes and its awesome.

Everything you need is inside the file.

man, this is for unlock not for flashing the firmware. Its to unlock the phone so the people can use it with the carrier they want.

You're getting a big head man. You've done amazing things for the community here, but to go around berating members for trying to help? That's going overboard.

Can you link me to the unlock process posted anywhere on the forums?

I am not here to "berate" any member. We are all here to help ourselves solve the inherent problems with the Samsung I8510 phone.
I wanted to emphasis the need to have our topics organised instead of duplicating same topics.

On your challenge to link you to where such topic has been treated in this forum,

Here we have 2 links to download files needed for flashing (for 2 purposes):
1st link ==> download files for flashing to update firmware
2nd link ==> download file for flashing the modem to unlock phone (network lock, code lock, etc)

All said in good spirit, we are here to help ourselves.
Lastly, we should avoid the use of uncivilized language in this forum especially when addressing other members.

Aliu, I respect all your posts and your works, but the post you are showing says that it is for restore the phone lock and restore the security code, thats not to unlock the phone.
These is a different thing, this unlocks the operator/phone lock so you can use it with any operator in the world.
I think you got confused with that. this is not for the security code. With all respect

Could you please provide detailed instructions on how to use the software contained in the zip folder to unlock the phone?

The included readme.txt file just says that one should "flash the Phone with this MODEM CODE". But I have no clue HOW to actually do this.

Can someone PLEASE help?????

I unlocked my mobile using the unlocking code & i got the unlocking code from http://www.mobile-unlocker.com/ .It provides the unlocking service for my mobile..It also guides me throughout the process.
