Haven't experimenting with it myself yet, does anyone here have any experience of your maximum hours of gps usage before the battery drain out? btw I'm using GarminXT and it works great imo..

5-7 hours on battery alone. i have a usb plug for the car so it charges while navigating.

last time i think it was around 1,5 hours that i got out of garmin, when i had just 50% battery ...

i think there a differences in what software you use to navigate

Roughly 4 to 4.5 hours maximum. When you get to the lowest battery level, on some softwares it will disable the gps to keep it usable as a phone.
