Hello Guyz,

I have loaded Canada maps img on my innov8 and it works like charm. Now I wanted to load Middle East map img but it over rides the file gmapsupp.img

How can i load multiple maps?

Hi.
I am using multiple maps on my Samsung i8510.
The main maps(this is what I use all the time) are the UK.
If you want to use different maps(for example Canada-East europe) You will need to create different .img-files.
If your main map is Canada it has to be the "inbuilt" map on your device and it is not being changed while you use mapsource to transfer new maps on to your device.
The "inbuilt" map MUST to be GMAPPROM.IMG( and it's unlock has GMAPPROM.UNL)
If you want to use other maps that has to be GMAPSUPP.IMG(unlock GMAPSUPP.UNL) and if you use mapsource to create new maps this folder(gmapsupp) will be used for that.
And also you can use a secondary folder for maps.It has to be GMAPSUP2.IMG(unlock GMAPSUP2.UNL).

I managed to get second map loaded and it works great. How about third map? I tried loading new map with file name to GMAPSUP3.IMG but it doesnt work. Any help?

How may different maps do you want to use at a time?
You can use only these .img files what I wrote before.
I do not know why but only these are working..
Where are you live and what else maps do you want to use?
