Okay, I looked at several posts and I still can't seem to get my GPS working. Can someone please provide a step by step instruction set on how to install Garmin XT software or something equal. I live in North America and not sure what I need nor how to do it. First I thought all I needed was the Garmin XT 5.00 something. So I managed to install that, however the application doesnt seem to want to accept the codes I put it from the key generator (I put them into the root folder of the garmin application). They are not saved as text files. I simply pasted the generated numbers into notepad and "saved as" those two unlock codes. When I look at the data in settings, I have one 10 digit number ID and 2 other number sets. What am I doing wrong? Also, the application wont recognize my GPS. I tried the instructions posted on the forum...but still not working. It activates under the tools feature (GPS data) and I even flashed the phone for factory settings...not sure what I doing wrong. Also, do I need to download maps as well? Does anyone have a link of where I could get that and the correct folder I should put it in..Essentially, I need a how to install this application for idiots from beginining to end...thanks in advance...
