Samsung i8510 INNOV8 User Forums

Hi - I'm a UK user and have just flashed my phone to I8510XEHI5 - as it said elsewhere on here that English was a language option using this version.

The install through Apollo went fine, but all the language options were in Russian ! I now can't see a word of English anywhere !

Please help !!

You have to change the language in the settings, but why didn't you use a newer version like XXIB2, DJIC1 or ZXIE1?

Gerii - help !!

The download and flashing went through fine, but on the reboot the phone's now turned Japanese, and didn't give me a language option !

Presume that's not supposed to happen ??

Just go into the menu, then choose the settings icon (3rd row, 1st column), after that choose the first option, do that three times, then go 4 times down (to the 5th option), choose that, in this new menu choose the first item and change the language to English.

Here another tutorial, if you don't understand mine:

Then I had the home screen come up. I pressed the left silver key to get to the menu.

Scrolled down to the settings Icon, which is the gear and wrench picture, then pushed it.

Then pushed the settings icon which is the phone and gear icon.

Then pushed the general icon which is the phone and wrench Icon.

Then clicked the personalization icon, which is the top icon that I was already on.

Then scrolled down 5 titles titles and clicked on it.

Then clicked the top box which is phone language and clicked on the one that said english. The phone will restart and you can add your settings however you want to.
