Samsung i8510 INNOV8 User Forums

I have Garmin XT installed on my i8510 and working well, except that the safety camera and other POI warnings don't work. I have Garmins POI Loader on my home pc and using this have added the safety cams and some custom POI files to the memory card, and they do show up in the Garmin folder. Can anyone suggest why I get no warnings when approaching the cameras etc. I assume the files may be sitting in the wrong place? Thanks for any help!

Turn on your Garmin on the device,go to TOOLS\ SETTINGS\ PROXIMITY POINTS\ CUSTOM POI SETS---> ENABLED!!!

Wish it were that easy - I have the custom POI sets & Garmin safety cameras enabled, and audio notification set to continuous speed alerts but nothing shows up when I approach a POI or camera! :cry:

Do you have folder for POI's on your memory card or just in the root folder?
You should have this structure:
E(or F) memory\GARMIN\POI\...

Yup - I have the POI folder within the Garmin folder on the memory card (F). Hiding inside that are things like the safety cams, accomodation, attractions and one or two other custom POI's.
If anyone can show me the path that their Safety camera POI files are under that may help (ie. F/Garmin/POI/.......... etc.)
