Alright first download this http://rapidshare.com/files/232717912/Apollo_6.05.7z
this is Apollo 6.05, which you'll be using to flash your phone, along with it are all the drivers you need to install, for your comp to dectect your phone!

and if u dont have the latest pc suite, it can be found here

and lastly the actual firmware which is here

Open Apollo 6.05
now first were gona see if the PDA drivers are installed correctly
Switch on the phone holding the 1 and 4 buttons.
After you connect the phone to the PC, in Apollo under "Connection and Progress info" (thats at the right half of the Apollo window) you should see " %USB#_vid".. or something like that in the PDA box. if it does then it works properly

second were gona check the phone drivers

Switch on the phone holding the 7 and * keys.
cAfter you connect the phone you should see something like "[COM13] in the Modem box. If that's all good, you're set to go.

Now to the actual process..
unrar the file i850xxib2
click the [Modem Code] button and browse to [i850xxib2]>Phone_I8510XXIB2.bin and open.
3. Click [PDA Image] button and navigate to [PDA_Code_I8510XXIB2]>CODE_I8510XXIB2.xml and open.
4. Select country and network. If you speak English select Russia and whatever network. When you've booted up you get to select your country and language so there's no drama.
5. Power on the phone with 4 and * key pressed (ALL DOWNLOAD Mode)
6. When you connect phone to PC, the [COM13] or something result should show up
7. Under "PDA Status", make sure "Bootloader", "NV Clear" and "ALL" are ticked, this is the default condition but just check to make sure.
8. Select your phone in the "Model" box if you haven't already done so, ie, GT-I8510 (PRIMERA)
9. Now click the "All Download" button to begin downloading..

After download, the device will be re-booted automatically. And then CODE and CSC will be downloaded.
And thats about it, enjoy ur new phone!

hmm..i dont beleive it has every country with just 110mb..im downloading it now, we will see..

there are 3 countries to choose from, who ever just wishes to use it as english will work perfectly!!!!!! there are many many many bug fixes from the i8510XXhj4

for the one the camera can focus in MUCH faster more then 3 times faster then teh last firmware!!!!!!!!
and all the extra garge and junk has been removed, batery life is almost double now, so far so good, ill see if i find anything else

The normal XXIB2-firmware contains english, french, german, portuguese and spanish language and T9.

there are 3 countries to choose from, who ever just wishes to use it as english will work perfectly!!!!!! there are many many many bug fixes from the i8510XXhj4

for the one the camera can focus in MUCH faster more then 3 times faster then teh last firmware!!!!!!!!
and all the extra garge and junk has been removed, batery life is almost double now, so far so good, ill see if i find anything else

and the battery lasts a longggg time now..before id go a day with mild use...now i can go 3 days with regular use..

So can some one confirm that this works ok when using it as an english firmware? I have sen a lot of people sayin a lot of conflicting things?
Just need some clarification before i flash my phone?

I know that samsung PC studio dont ofer update. But why we must update innov8 in unofficial way? What about if I send my innov8 to local service-do you think they could update innov8 to latest version Did anybody try that
