hello, im from argentina, so..sorry for my bad english..this is my problem,
im traying to flash my innov8 8g with apollo 6.05 and firmware version I850XXIB2..it detect the phone y both modes (modem and pda)...y follow the instructions in the tutorial, but after it finished the modem downloading process, in the PDA box it appears a messege "PDA attach time (60 seconds) Over" and the "MODEM DOWNLOAD" message in the phone never stops, the phone doesnt reebot, so i have to remove the battery and the phone is like in the begginig, nothing changes.
by the way, wich firm version is the best till now.???

Today did i charge my battery full (secound time after i bought the phone), and i took 4 pictures with the camera, and after that did i loss 1 battery life\line on my phone!!!!! Is that normal? I dont understand why i loose so much battery life!

Other info if that can help you to help me;

I use the theme Elegance Noire
I have added photos from facebook of my friends, so when they call me do i get their face up on my phone.
I have added 2 movies to my phone on E:
I have installed 4 themes who i found from the internett, but i do not use them.
i tried to install quake on my phone, but the game did not work.
I have added my own ring tone and sms message sound from the internett.
AND FINALLY before i used the phone 1 time, i installed this firmware...
And no micro sd card or GPS program is installed.

I read that everybody say this firmware gave their phone much better battery life... why do i have so bad, that my phone have to be charged after just one day (and the phone is just some days old)

I am so sad now

Heres what you should do:
Make sure the themes you installed are installed on the Phone Memory and not the memory card ( even tho you dont use them )
Install JBakTaskMan and make sure a process called Screencapture isnt running
And finally set your phone Auto Brightness and Power Saving mode...

And if you can, try updating your firmware to the latest (or best) one

Can you tell me the latest firmware i can download with norwegian language?

found out its not working properly in vista 64 bit, the modem driver cant be found. use xp

What does JBTaskMan actually do that makes the battery life longer??

You can use JBak TaskMan to kill off some useless background processes. Be warned that JBak doesn't list separately processes that can crash your phone when killed etc. Alternatively you can also use an app called KillMe for this. Here's a list of several processes that I found can be safely killed with JBak:

- AutoLock: pretty obvious, when you kill this you will disable the automatic keylock function
- ScreenCapture: seems to be a left behind process from an app that never made it to the retail version of the phone. CMIIW but it really does nothing than eating chunks out of your battery.
- Screensaver: pretty much the same as ScreenCapture, seeing that with or without it, the INNOV8 still doesn't support screensavers.
- Anything with Shozu in its name. If you re-run the app, they will reappear.
- NimbuzzWD.exe : appears only if you have Nimbuzz installed. Also a left behind process.
- Anything with YApp in its name : background processes from DrJukka's apps.
- SamsungAudioServer : kills off all sound. Just play any sound file to bring them back again.
- HomerDaemon : not really sure what this is, but killing it doesn't seem to affect the phone in any way. Probably language related?

First of all I want to say Thank U very much,everything worked like a charm,but I have a question for you.Since I updated the firmware i can't seem to be able to watch youtube videos.I tried with opera mobile 8.65 and Opera mini and it just doesn't respond when i click on the video itself or on the link bellow the video that says Watch video,also when I try to watch it from the default browser (web) i try to open the video but it opens in real player,where it says buffering,stands still on 0% and fails to play,than it asks me if I want to download the video,so I also tried that and it saves a file with a rom extension but it's only like 100kbytess.Is there a way to fix this,and if so plz tell me how
