Guys,

Does any of you experience that you dont have ESN number when you go to settings/tools/about in Garmin Mobile XT but have:

IMEI 10 digit
IMSI 10 digit
CARD ID 11 digit

Which one of it is same as ESN number? Is it IMEI number?

I bought the phone in North America. Appreciate any feedback...

Further to my above message,

OK, i found a converter here in the forums. There was a link to a converter.exe and I downloaded it.

What converter basically does (as much as I understood), it converts your IMEI number into a UNIT ID number so that you can use it with Garmin Keygen. However, I can not convert my IMEI number into a UNIT ID number because I get error. My IMEI number is 10 digit whereas the converter asks you for more digit!

Any idea?

Ok guys, never mind this , I found my UNIT ID! but still can not get recognized my internal gps to garmin Mobile XT!

I dont know if I have to have maps (not basemaps the maps of where I am) in order to run internal gps on the cell phone with Garmin? Is has nothing to do with that right?
