Please note: Not all versions of Garmin XT will work on Samsung i8510 INNOV8. Tested and working
versions are from 5.00.30 and above.
So,here we go !!!
1. Connect the phone via USB in MASS STORAGE MODE.
2. Run the installation of Garmin Mobile XT Support files.
It is very easy,just follow the on screen instructions.
3. Run the installation of Garmin Mobile XT Free Base map.
4. Run the installation of Garmin Mobile S60V3 edition.
After this is done,disconnect your phone using SAFELY REMOVE HARDWARE option.
5. Now,go to File Manager find Garmin XT.sis and run the installation.
6. After the installation is done,run the application and go to Settings/About/Card ID number.
7. Make a note of your Card ID number!!! This number is very important during codes generating process both for application
and maps.
8. Now,connect your phone via USB cable in MASS STORAGE MODE,
find and open folder GARMIN on your memory card.
9. Now run Garmin Ke...n,and in the upper part of the program type in your Card ID number,
and in the lower part of the program,choose your map from the list,and then click GENERATE
on both sides of the program.
10. The codes which are generated HAS TO BE saved to Notepad!
The code from upper part of program is for Application unlocking and it HAS TO BE named as SW.UNL
The code from lower part of the program is for Maps unlocking,
and IT HAS TO be named as GMAPSUPP.UNL
VERY IMPORTANT:
-While saving these codes in notepad,PC will ask you to choose in what file type you want
to save your document and YOU HAVE TO CHOOSE "ALL FILE TYPES",not .TXT as default!!!!
11. Remember the path where these documents were saved,
and copy both files to folder Garmin on your memory card.
12. Disconnect your phone using SAFELY REMOVE HARDWARE,and restart the phone.
13. Run the application,and ENJOY!!!

P.S. Please be aware that this program will DRAIN your battery,no matter are you using it or not.
Unfortunately I had to remove Garmin XT from my i8510 due to extreme battery leakage.
Sad,but true.
