i want an XX (open market) firmware preferably U.K.
* Applicable country : UK(XEU)
* S/W Version : PDA/CSC(I8510XXHH7_HH1/I8510L08XEUHH8)
PHONE(I8510XXHH7_HH1)

Can someone post it up complete ?
and anyone know why russian firmwares are updated quickly while everyone else lags behind ?

Yes a proper full XX firmware is needed, I wan't to update to that kind of firmware..although don't know exacly how to do it heh.

P.S. Maybe the Russian firmwares are leaking.. thats why heheh, good for them :lol:

Yeaa new here.

Just got the handset last week thursday and its a powerful phone. Checking for updates and i see its all over the place. Would certainly like to update to the open market version if possible.

from reports, the i8510XXHHa seems to be the best firmware around, for now.

people that have updated it to i8510XXHJ3 reported the ability to save the geo-tagging camera setting, but on the other had found new bugs, so i guess it is not a good choice to get that one.

samsung seems to provide the users that already have a good firmware (like that XXHHa) only with updates, that do really change for the good of it. right now, there is no update that is said to fix the camera setting "bug" that prevents it to save the "anti shake" setting, which will be the most important thing in my opinion.

we will just have to wait a little longer ... i find myself trying the update function now and then... though i am pretty sure that we will not get a new XX firmware in january....

I am not sure about the languages( english,germany,spanish...maybe)
I have a friend and he gave me these files...

Just flashed this one yesterday, the firmware is rather old (20/08/08), and I can't get pc-studio to work with my phone now.

Languages: english, frensh, german, italian and spanish.

For the rest the firmware seems o.k.

Can you get an XX firmware with language set 04?
