if it is true, what share5gsm says, then they got a new firmware for XX ... they have one XXHJ3 and will have a XXIA1 ... which would be a true firmware release of 2009 from samsung !

I wish that and if it get Greek menu I will search every possible place to find it heheh (I've never seen a i8510 with Greek menu, at least to be able to write in Greek, I have many friends which don't understand very well Greeklish[Greek with latin characters, its easy but.. well they don't heh])

Hi people,


I've found a Greek forum and there are some i8510 users that they have I8510XXHK1 in their phones(thats how they got it), the date is 07/11/2008. Anyone know how to extract this sweet firmware so we can use it? (I guess they don't mind to help me and if they do we can use the firmware). The custom version is Ι8510EURHK1 and from what someone says this firmware is for Greece(there isn't any Greek menu thought). (Although this firmware comes if you buy a i8510 phone in Greece, because thats what they did these people)


P.S. If someone know a method ti get tha firmware(extract from the phone) it would be lovely

(I'm wondering how share4gsm says that has these firmwares and there aren't leaking anywhere...hmm fishy). Someone that tried anything from share4gsm? ..I found out that the firmware that I've put recently it's like I bought a phone from Sweden "PDA(I8510XXHJ3)CSC(I8510L03XEEHJ1)PHONE(I8510XXHI1)" thats from share4gsm info and I have exacly the same. For Greece the have:

So if we compare what they've said in the Greek forum and the info that I collect from the share4gsm it seems that (at least in theory) they have the right firmware.

Some of the RnD tools might be able to copy Z:\ to mass memory and then to a PC. try retrieving the RnD tools from the folder on the L1 dev firmware i posted.
then upload RnD tools to the firmware you want and simple copy everything from Z:\ and C:\ to a SDHC card and extract from the phone.
