hi mates,

i just discovered a bug that appeared on my phone with DJIC1 and XXIB2 :

you can not add a number to an existing contact via the call log.

if you choose the number in the call log and go into the options you choose "update existing contact".

for one second the contact list will be shown (for you to select the contact you want to update) but it will close immediately before you have the chance to select anything ... it will just throw you into the standby screen.


please check if this bug is in your firmware as well

Hmm... i dont have this problem, it allows me to successfully update the contact from call log... Im using DJIC1

I have noticed this behaviour on other apps, but only when I updated firmware without choosing csc of the same firmware.

it's csc related. Using another CSC introduces a lot of new bugs, like wap not working and various screens dissapear into the main screen. Too bad.

i am using DJIC1 (which has no CSC itself) so this might be a bug due to the usage of tje djic1 with xx csc

I've updated from XXIB2 with the CSC from Morocco (which has all the XX languages included like German) to DJIC1 and I don't experience this bug.

i had the XXIB2 on my phone and had that bug on that version too =/

it was the morocco XXIB2 with the italian XXIB2 CSC (dont ask why)
