Any RPGs?

Postby Sash » Thu Dec 04, 2008 1:59 pm

Just wondering if there are any native Role playing games (Final Fantasy/Secret of Mana/Chrono Trigger -esque) games on Symbian. Or is there any NES/SNES Emulators that work with the S60 software?

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=N0NQOOJF

That gets you a free trial of a SNES emulator.

Best for the Mega-Drive would be Picodrive, which you can find here http://www.fwrnando.com/files/picodrive_s60v3_135.sis

The Picodrive is completely free and the most recent version.

You should be able to find the ROMs for them anywhere on the net.

Happy Trails

EDIT: replaced duff link

Good man. Have you tried it? What are the controls actually like? I am trying to figure out if it will actually be hard to play due to not having a D Pad and not having buttons like an n96/95

Truth be told I only use the Picodrive ('cause I'm a Sega fan boy  )

You can map the buttons for your own personal preference. It does get a bit fiddly when you've got "3" set as the A button and your trying press left on the D-Pad, but you do get used to it!
