I came across this site recently that you may find usefull: Samsung innov8 Unlock
Hi Folks, the user forum software is currently being updated. If you are unable to access the forum please check back in a bit.
** Update: Ran into a few snags, but the updates are complete now. The User Forum is on the latest version and is good to go.
Our user forum was unfortunately compromised sometime in the last 12 hours or so, and Google has flagged it as an attack site distributing malware. So, I’ve been forced to do some overdue updates immediately. My apologies for any inconvenience – please rest assured this will be completed today, as quickly as possible. Check back in a few hours and we should be good to go.
Rest assured no malware is distributed here – It might take some time for google to clear the warning, but the problem has already been resolved. Now I’m just patching to avoid being compromised again.
*** Update: Maintenance is complete. Please let me know if you encounter any problems.

Several of our forum users have recently reported trouble sending SMS messages from their i8510 Innov8 phones. Two possible solutions have surfaced:
1 – Try swapping sim cards with a friend for a few minutes, then swap back again and see if that clears the problem. 2 – If you only have trouble sending SMS messages to some numbers, try putting the full number including country code.

There is a new version brewing of the Samsung i8510. Which has been spotting on the FCC website. This new version adapted to the US 3G market or NAM (North American Market) frequencies. So it will have dual band UMTS (850/1900MHz) with HSDPA. So Samsung’s i8510 will make an official launch soon with full 3G / HSDPA support on AT&T’s network. Of course this means that its quite likely that it will also be released on Rogers’ 3G network in Canada.
